I never realized

So I never considered the real fear of getting laid off until recently. As I have accumulated bills and felt so happy to have nice things that I get to put money into for the next two years I slowly realized the fear of not having a job for even a week.

Makes me really feel for people facing Christmas at the 155 stores, and people laid off everywhere

Black Friday

I've never seen Jason (co-worker, Tech Lead, In-Home tech) as depressed as when him and I hit up the Black Friday line at 3am, and we realized there was less then 75 people there, contrasting our normal 300+ Black Friday line. After we had gone through the line we had passed out 3 vouchers.... If your not familiar with B.F. Shopping 3 voucher laptops is extremely low.... unreasonable low.
Luckly the day was unusual, we see 300 people or more until 2 and then its slow, it did not slow down even when I left the day at 6:30 (yeah, 2:45am-6pm, awesome shift ehh?). However it was still not enough as we all hoped for, we did good but not as good as we wanted. No CCity did. On the plus side Verizon is hiring :P

Win. Mo.

So I finally purchased a new phone under a new contract. The HTC Excalibur from T-Mobile, they call it the T-Mobile Dash. It's a Windows Mobile phone, I payed for the express shipping from letstalk.com so it should be here Monday or Tuesday. Personally I'm excited to get the phone and play around in windows mobile, add some apps, perhaps get mobile firefox on it :P, all the good stuff. But it'll be a big change from my AT&T IPhone

Senior Project

Getting started on this senior project business is hard. My project is to build a web page helping people solve basic computer issues. This all started when at work time after time people would call me with the simplest questions, and it would take me a while to explain. A page like this could help people solve problems. I'm building the page in dreamweaver, an excellent program for building web pages. The issue I've ran into is I'm a tech person not an art person, and I'm Red/Green color blind, so building a good color pallet is a lot of work.

Not to mention between my want to beat fallout 3 again, hang out with Serina more, and do everything but school work, It's hard to stay on track.

Stores Closing

So Circuit City decided to close 155 stores, being a pc tech our supervisor wanted to tell us a day early because if our store was chosen we would be the only people in the store fired immediately.
It was almost perfect, as he broke the news to us the rain began to poor onto our heads (we went out behind road shop as to not draw attention).

I was lucky that when I woke up the next morning I had a job....
